“Quando il design incontra l’arte. Giorgio Celiberti per Midj” (When Design Meets Art. Giorgio Celiberti for Midj) is the title chosen for the exhibition dedicated to Giorgio Celiberti by the Associazione Artistico Culturale Il Ponte di Pieve di Cento, in the province of Bologna, in collaboration with Midj. The association intends to pay a tribute to Giorgio Celiberti, one of the leading Italian artists to successfully gain an autonomous and historic exhibition space. This year, the artist took part for the fifth time at the Biennale di Venezia.

The exhibition mainly aims to present the furniture collection created by the artist for Midj: the pieces that this maestro has created for Midj are pure art. Free from any excess, allegory or additional shapes, they are perfect lines that are unalterable by time. These unique, numbered objects have been created one by one, and then certified and signed by the maestro himself.

The exhibition will be officially inaugurated, in the presence of maestro Giorgio Celiberti, on 17 September at 6pm at the Galleria Il Ponte di Pieve di Cento (Bologna). It can be visited until 17 October from Tuesday to Saturday, from 4 – 7pm.
