The Italia chair by Midj, a design project by Jacopo Giagnoni
Posted by Midj on 12 Sep 2011 in 2011, Designer e collaborazioni, Premio Renato Brunetta | 0 commentsWith its elastic fabric, chrome-plated frame and the fun colours of the Italian flag, this chair was designed by Jacopo Giagnoni, a young but well-established designer and winner of the past edition of the Renato Brunetta Award, the contest for “Giovani Talenti di Design” (Young Design Talent) organised by Midj in collaboration with the Minister Brunetta. The winner of the 2011 edition of the Renato Brunetta Award will shortly be announced.
The architect and designer Jacopo Giagnoni was born in Florence. He works in the fields of architecture, interior design and product design, and is a consultant on strategy and communication for the design, art and fashion sectors. He has won numerous international awards for architecture and design, and many of his works have been published in leading magazines including Abitare, Casabella, Chairs and Interni.
